MFB for outdoor covered areas should be installed with glue down method for stability. Use a construction adhesive that bonds to concrete or wood subfloor. Seal the perimeter against moisture ingress.
Allow for some expansion in large outdoor spaces. While MFB has very low expansion, outdoor temperature swings are larger than indoor.
